This is one of the new sets from the PTI March release.
Isn't this butterfly beautiful!
The stamp set is called Butterfly Blooms. It comes with the butterfly image and some sweet flower images. I used the flowers to make the background paper. The panel the butterfly is sitting on is another new set from the March release called Stitch in Time Borders. I made the splatters on the butterfly wings with Stampendous Shabby Green Enamel Embossing Powder.
Thanks so much for stopping by to look. Your kind comments are always appreciated.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Sharyn!! Love the splatters on the butterfly. Have a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteOh MAN!!! I had to really steal myself away from that butterfly stamp. I LOVE it, and may still cave. You have used it beautifully here, I really like your soft "Sharyn" colors, you have certainly done this card justice. Happy Easter!!
ReplyDeleteYou always make such beautiful Designer Paper f your own, it is an art and a gift! Half the time I think it's actual paper, it's always so beautiful! That butterfly is magnificent, so pretty and the splatters look fabulous, the flowers are so sweet and just the perfect little accents! WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI must have told you before that I love how you make your own background paper. This one is so delicate and really lets the magnificent butterfly be the star. Perfect addition of the flowers and sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSharyn, how do you do it? You turn stamps that I think are not that cool into something magnificent!! Like the butterfly for example, when I looked at it on release night, I saw a "moth"...sorry moths and me do not get along, have had a phobia about them since early childhood...but YOUR card is striking! and then let's go to the background and all the layers, your added border is also just stunning! Well done friend! Happy Day after Easter! Heart Hugs, Colleen
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and I especially like that you used a recent MIM technique of enamel embossing powders on the butterfly! It looks so sparkly!
ReplyDeleteYou always make the best backgrounds Sharyn! Pretty card!
