Happy Retirement

Boy it seems like forever since I've posted on here.
 I almost forgot how.......almost.

My husband has a friend who is retiring and he likes to fish.
The only fish I have are cartoon ones, so I decided to go with a row boat.
I pulled out supplies from Gina K. Designs, Papertrey Ink and Doodlebug.
I hope he will like it!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. Beautiful design, Sharyn. I'm sure your husband's friend will be thrilled to receive it. xx

  2. Great background papers and this is a fun fishing card. You don't need a fish to get the idea. Hope things are going okay for you.

  3. The best personalized retirement card I have ever seen. Love the colors and how you made the clouds stand out. This guy is a lucky man to be retiring and to get this card.

  4. Your husbands friend will love this card. I love how you created a very relaxing scene.

  5. A great card for someone who likes to fish. Love the patterned papers you have used, perfect for this design. The recipient will love it, really fabulous!!!

  6. This is awesome Sharyn! Love the colors and how you made the clouds stand out so well! Larry's retiring friend will love it!

  7. What a very thoughtful and perfectly executed retirement card, Sharyn! He will love it! Every element is so cool from the pp, to the dragonfly, to the popped-up fluffy clouds! Lovely to see you blogging! Hugs, Darnell

  8. Sharyn, What a lovely, thoughtful retirement card you've created. Your husbands friend will love the fishing theme. Love the pretty clouds popped up on your gorgeous die. Lots of life in this card. Beautifully done!

  9. Almost! :) Thankfully you haven't forgotten how to make such beautiful cards! This is fantastic! Oh I thought it was for Larry! I love this entire design and that rowboat is a classic, I don't know how old that set is but I have it too and find it is perfect for making a masculine card. Again, this is fantastic!
