CASology Week #154 - Repeat

This time at CASology the challenge was to Repeat.

Here's my card

I just bought this cute little stamp set from Lawn Fawn.  The ants are what sold it for me. lol When I saw the challenge at CASology, I knew I had to play along.  My "repeat" is the trail of ants making their way to a yummy piece of watermelon.  Thanks for coming by to look!

CASology Week 125 - Silver

This week at CASology the challenge is Silver.  If you ask what I think about when I hear the word silver, especially at this time of year, the answer would be silver bells.  Silver Bells, also, happens to be one of my favorite Christmas songs.

Here's my card

I still struggle with clean and simple, but I haven't played here in a while and wanted to give it another try.  I'm really a layering kind of gal and it is hard to not layer.  lol  I love white on white cards and the little touch of silver gives it a very elegant feel.  I really like the stitched diagonal die as the base for the sentiment.  I used a pine needle border under the edge of the diagonal piece for a little added interest.  The sentiment and the bells were done in silver foil paper and glitzy glitter paper. Thanks so much for coming by to look!

The Recipe:

Memory Box Pine Needle Border
W Plus 9 Hand Lettered Holiday - sentiment
Lil' Inkers On the Diagonal & Bell dies
DCWV Glitzy Glitter paper
Recollections Silver foil paper
Doodlebug twine

The Card Concept 23 - Krafty Christmas

The challenge at The Card Concept this time is Krafty Christmas.  I love Kraft and don't use it enough.  I got up early today to make this card because this is a busy day for me.  I have my grandsons this afternoon and we are cooking.  Yes, I have grandsons who love to cook!  They look through my cookbooks and magazines and pick out what they want to make.  We make enough to feed all of us, so it works out well.  Mom and Dad are happy because they don't have to fix dinner when they get home from work.  By the way, the two chefs are eleven and six and on the menu tonight is Parm Breaded Pork Chops and Hash Brown Casserole.

Here's my card

My style for this card is Clean and Simple.  I don't usually work in this style because I am a laying kind of gal.  I had to add the ribbon and the red nose.......just had too!  lol   Thanks so much for coming by to look!
