Just Us Girls #357 - Color Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Color Week.  Lisa is our hostess and she has chosen Aqua, Kraft and White as our inspiration.  As usual with color challenges, you are to use all three of the chosen colors as well as any neutrals that you need.  Neutrals are white, ivory, Kraft, black, brown or gray.

I love using this Quilt Square Cover Up die from MFT.  When you use multiple colors, you end up with enough pieces to make more than one card.  The other cards are posted below.  I, also, used the Circle Scribbles dies from PTI and a pretty button from GKD.

The Recipe:
MFT Quilt Square Cover Up
PTI Circle Scribbles
GKD Berry Blues button
GKD Scripty Sayings 2

Card 2
RC Stamped Note Heart
Crimper
We R Memory Keepers twine

Card 3
Hero Arts Sentiments
GKD Berry Blues button

Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Colleen, have made this week.  I hope you will come and play along with us.

If you win Chic of the Week in any of our August challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of October.  Good Luck!

The Card Concept 23 - Krafty Christmas

The challenge at The Card Concept this time is Krafty Christmas.  I love Kraft and don't use it enough.  I got up early today to make this card because this is a busy day for me.  I have my grandsons this afternoon and we are cooking.  Yes, I have grandsons who love to cook!  They look through my cookbooks and magazines and pick out what they want to make.  We make enough to feed all of us, so it works out well.  Mom and Dad are happy because they don't have to fix dinner when they get home from work.  By the way, the two chefs are eleven and six and on the menu tonight is Parm Breaded Pork Chops and Hash Brown Casserole.

Here's my card

My style for this card is Clean and Simple.  I don't usually work in this style because I am a laying kind of gal.  I had to add the ribbon and the red nose.......just had too!  lol   Thanks so much for coming by to look!
