Twofer Card Challenge - Feathers

I found this new challenge that sounded a bit challenging and wanted to give it a try.  Follow the link to get all of the low down.

I am cutting this down to the wire as I just decided to try to enter two hours before the deadline.  I so do not do this as I am a very slow crafter.  lol  Here are my cards:

I used a beautiful feather set from PTI called Feather Finery.  One card is done in pinks and is tickled about someones good news and the other is done in blues and aquas for a Sympathy card.

Mod Squad - Grandma's Attic

This week at Mod Squad Donna is hosting and the challenge is called Grandma's Attic.  She wants us to use a doily in our design.

Here's my card

I chose a silver doily from Wilton and paired it with some beautiful powder blue.  Feathers are so on trend, and I love this stamp set from PTI called Feather Finery.  The blingy flourish in the background is a stamp set from Gina K. Designs called Bring the Bling, and I embossed it in silver.   I feel that if I had a feathery mask to add to the front of the card, I would be ready for Mardi Gras! Thanks for coming by to look!
