I chose this pretty peach image from Flourishes and decided to make a thank you card. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey. This particular pack has some really beautiful papers in it. I used some fun dies and added twine in two colors.
Please visit the Just Us Girls blog to see the beautiful cards the rest of the team and our GD, Tenia Nelson, have made this week. I hope you will be inspired and come play along with us.
If you win Chic of the Week in any of our May challenges, you will be in the running to be chosen as our Guest Designer for the month of July. Good luck!

Love the coloring on those peaches! For some reason the peaches paired with that patterned paper reminds me of a country fair. I love it!ReplyDelete
Love the Designer Papers you used, so pretty! And those peaches....pointillism, yes? Gorgeous!!! And you must use starch on your Baker's Twine, my bows never look that good, they're all floppy lolReplyDelete
FUN! Love the textured colored peaches!ReplyDelete
Very pretty choice of paper and I love the way you tied the button on the twine! Very pretty card!ReplyDelete
Well, isn't this card just "peachy". Love that designer paper with the textured peaches and I really like how you tied the twine through the button.ReplyDelete
Such a pretty card. Love how you colored it with all that texture. I have never tried that. Really sweet patterned paper, it is so you!! Great card!ReplyDelete

Very pretty soft card. The technique that you used on the image is perfect with the patterned paper. Is this like Donna said, pointillism? Not easy to do and have it look like this. You are a shinning creative star!ReplyDelete
Beautiful colors and coloring, Sharyn! Lovely card!ReplyDelete
