Seize the Birthday - Pocket Card

This time at Seize the Birthday our topping is "Pocket Card".  Of course, it's always "Anything Goes" if you aren't interested in the topping, as long as it's for a birthday.

Anita from France will be playing along with us again week as our Surprise Party Guest.  Be sure to stop by her blog and leave her some love.

I think I have only made one pocket card before, so this took some thought.  Here is what I came up with.

I pulled out a set from Flourishes called Under the Big Top and paired it with a set from The Cat's Pajamas called Admit One.  I love this big ticket and thought it would be the perfect choice to go in my pocket.  Besides, you need a ticket to get into the circus, right?

Please visit the Seize the Birthday blog to see the wonderful cards the rest of the team have made.  I hope you will be inspired and want to come play along.

The Recipe:
Flourishes Under the Big Top
TCP Admit One
RC Double Banner Garland
MFT Plaid Patterns patterned paper
Lil' Inkers Stitched Sentiments
Spellbinders Standard Rectangles
MME enamel dots

  6. Wonderfully titis tracked card! Happy colors and then the pocket for the ticket to get into the circus, is so amazing. It may have taken you some thought, but it was very clever.

  9. How cute. Love the paper and the theme. You really nailed the circus theme. The banner and clown with the elephant is inspired. Then adding the ticket was perfect.
