Make It Monday #321 Ink Blending on Colored Card Stock

I've had a lot of fun with this week's Make It Monday.  Melissa introduced us to Blending on Colored Card Stock.

I stayed pretty much with Melissa's design, but with some color changes and change in the size of  the layers.

Thanks so much for coming by to look.  Your kind comments are always appreciated.

  1. Oh my goodness, Sharyn, these cards are stunning! You may have convinced me to "need" that Folksy Butterfly, you've used it beautifully and it works so well with this technique. Your color and DSP choices couldn't be any prettier, and the bows are PERFECT. Wow, you rocked it!

  3. OH My!!!! Just stunning, all of them. I am particular to the middle one, but all of them are splendiferous! I needed a butterfly card for a future challenge. I made tow of them today and neither one could stand next to these.

  4. Oh my gosh, these are simply FABULOUS!!!! I think the thing I like best about all of them is are those big, beautiful bows. They really add so much to the whole look. Every one of these cards is so beautiful and well thought out. Great patterned paper choices - you really nailed this challenge.

  7. These are splendid. While I think each is very pretty, I think the bright cheer of #1's gonna be my fav. I've never tried blending on colored cardstock (that I can remember) and this is a wonderful idea. You certainly had some great results with it. And I love all the patterns and colors you've done on the backgrounds, as it just sings 'summer' to me on every card! Well done, and TFS the idea of this technique. TFS & Hugs

  8. Such a pretty collection of cards! I obviously bought the wrong butterfly set (bought the regular set, not outline). :( Happy you are getting good use out of your set.
