Eclectic Fun

These cards were all made using the new Eclectic Fun Kit
from Gina K. Designs.
The new wreath builder and Mandala Maker 2 set is very addicting.
I played all afternoon trying different color combos.

The following cards were made using the largest wreath position and
then die cutting them with Master Layouts 7 to make two cards.

Happy Retirement

My husband asked me to make two Happy Retirement
cards for former work friends who are retiring.

The first one is a CASE of a beautiful card that Melissa Phillips made.
I love it and think it makes a fabulous retirement card.
I used Feathered Friends 12, Border Bling Flowers and Some Like It Hot (flowers)
from Papertrey Ink.
I used BotaniCuts Palm from The Greetery and
Enjoy the Journey from Gina K. Designs.
The embellishments are from Trinity Stamps and called Bubble Blow Out.

On this card, I used the Little Pickup from Honey Bee Stamps.
The Cuttlebug Diamond Plate Embossing Folder,
the Stitched Arch Stax and Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things,
Country Roads from Gina K. Designs.

Thanks so much or stopping by.

Time to Coast

Yesterday I was able to play with the new
Gina K. Designs
Time To Coast stamp set and Master Layouts 5 set.

Here is a look through my imaginary windows.

I made a mask with Masking Magic to cover the images
while I sponged the backgrounds.
I colored the images with Polychromos.
I used some of Gina's beautiful patterned papers
to wallpaper behind the windows.

Wishing You a Happy Day and Enjoy Your Birthday

This is a Gina K. Designs kind of day!
The first card is my take on her Live from yesterday.

I stamped the Sketched Flowers and leaves with GKD
Sea Glass, Turquoise Sea, Black Onyx, Jelly Bean Green and Fresh Asparagus inks
and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder to make them shine.
I used two different patterns from the Ang & Me patterned paper pack.
I used Master Layouts 2, 3 & 5, the Enjoy die and
the Enjoyable Greetings set.

On the second card, I used the GKD Sweet Spring stamp set and
heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
I colored the flower and leaves with
Faber Castell Polychromos pencils, and
used a beautiful patterned paper from
DCWV's Citrus Mat Stack.

Congrats Class of 2021

I was in need of a card for
a young lady graduating from our local high school.
This is what I came up with.

The school colors are white, royal blue and orange.
The  cap looked plain, so I added a sprig of flowers
to dress it up a bit.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

The Congrats, Bold Numbers and Alpha Bud Bold Florals

Better Together

Here are some cards I made a few weeks ago
after a Gina K. Designs video
where she stamped white pigment ink on a
dark card stock and then colored with pencils.

On this one I stamped on Kraft card stock and colored
the flowers with Neon Pink and Orange pencils.
They look like they glow.

Lot's of Birthdays

I watched a live at Gina K. Designs last night
where Gina was demonstrating the Kissing Technique.
I haven't used this technique in years, but it works
beautifully with her new Forever Flowers kit.

I stamped the outlines for the flowers in black and
then the Wild Dandelion layer.
I added Coral Reef to the Rose Lace background stamp and
then "kissed" my stamp to the background and
then stamped it on top of the Wild Dandelion.

It did the leaves the same way using Apple Mint and Lucky Clover.
The pink flowers were done using Bubblegum and Red Hot inks.

I used the beautiful Elegant Script stamp for the backgrounds.

Wishing You Peace

I was inspired by Gina's latest video when she colored
a beautiful flower with colored pencils and gamsol.
So, I picked out some incentive stamps from her collection and started to color.

I collect patterned paper and then don't use it, so
decided to pull out those gorgeous papers and
match them up with these pretty flowers.

I used Thank You Friend,  Garden Tour patterned paper,
Master Layouts # 2 & 3,  Peaceful Roses (sentiment) and
My Minds Eye enamel dots.

I used Peaceful Florals, Garden Tour patterned paper,
Angel Aura embellishments, Double Stitched and Single
Stitched Circles and Master Layouts #4.

I used Inspiring Poppies, Poppy Prints patterned paper,
Master Layouts #1 & 3 and Doodlebug Sprinkles.
I colored the poppy with a Zig Clean Color marker.

I used Peaceful Roses, Clear Dew Drops embellishments,
Petals & Wings patterned paper, Master Layouts #1 & 4.

The colored pencils I used were Faber Castille Polychromos.

I made a bunch of flowers and leaves from the

Today was play day and I had a ball

with Gina's pretty patterned papers.

I still have plenty left for another day!
