A crafting friend of mine recently had knee replacement surgery.  I sure know how that feels because I have had both of mine replaced.  I made this card for her.

Just Us Girls #352 - Color Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Color Week.  Bobby is our hostess and she has chosen some fun colors for us.  I can't wait to see what you do with Coral, Pink & Yellow.  Of course, you can add neutrals if you need them.

I really like this color combo.  I used Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet & Bright Buttercup inks from PTI. The pretty flower stamp set is from MFT and is called Flashy Florals.  The patterned paper is Vintage Linens from PTI.  I added some black, Kraft and brown as my neutrals.

Just Us Girls #335 - Color Week

This time at Just Us Girls it's Color Week.  Chris is our hostess and she has chosen Pink, Purple & Yellow as our inspiration colors.

I pulled out a set from W Plus 9 that I love called Quilt Prints.  I have used this several times.  It is fun changing up the colors, and as most of you know, I love to make my own backgrounds.  I used several dies from Reverse Confetti for my focal image and added some pink pearls by Recollections.

Just Us Girls #273 - Photo Week

This week at Just Us Girls it's Photo Week.  Nancy is our hostess and she has chosen a fun photo for our inspiration.  Here's how I was inspired.

When I saw this picture with all of the fabulous circles, all I could think about doing was the Bokeh Effect technique.  I love how the white circles soften the base colors.  To create the background I used Hero Arts Soft Granite & Fresh Peach. The white circles were made by using Brilliance Moonlight White.  The thanks script is from Mama Elephant.  I cut four of them and glued them together to add some interest.  The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh and Verve.  Thanks so much for coming by to look!
